Competition Training- You do not need to be a competitor to enjoy this high intensity class.  This class is designed to push you physically and mentally to prepare you for the rigors of competition.  With an emphasis on live sparring and rolling this class is an adrenaline rush.

Strength and Conditioning with Coach Joy- This is a combination of body weight exerciseswith cardio bursts, designed to improve speed, strength, power, and flexibility.  This class provides you with the opportunity to burn calories at a faster rate, while strengthening and toning your muscles at the same time.  Benefits of Strength & Conditioning:

Adult Jiu Jitsu- BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is widely considered to be one of the most effective martial arts for self defense as well as one of the original foundations of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).  Through the use of body positioning, leverage, and joint/pain manipulation an individual is able to overcome nearly any physical limitation (i.e. size, speed, strength, etc…) to defeat an opponent.  BJJ is able to provide effective skills for real life self defense, competition, and health/fitness.  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a great way to exercise your mind/body AND gain invaluable life skills that can be used to enhance your everyday life.​
Our adult Jiu Jitsu program is perfect for any skill level.  No experience is necessary.  There is no need to get into shape first.  Jiu Jitsu will help you get into shape.  We teach a mix of Jiu Jitsu for self defense and competitions.  Competition teams are available.

Adult MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), also referred as “Cage Fighting”, is the “mixing” of various techniques from different martial arts systems (including but not limited to Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) to be effective at all ranges of unarmed combat.  Although the techniques and training methods for this class are taken from the cage, by the cage, and for the cage you don’t need to be a fighter to train like one.  This is a non-rank class - the only belts that exist in MMA are earned in the cage and/or ring!  Great for any skill level.  This class is a cardio intense workout learning techniques straight from the cage.  You do not need to be a fighter to train like one.  The level of contact is up to you.  For those with an interest we do have a fight team with pro and amateur fighters.  

Youth Program-  Our youth program is geared for kid's 6 years old to 15 years old.  We offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA (mixed martial arts ) in our kid's program.  We teach a mix of Jiu Jitsu for self defense and tournament Jiu Jitsu.  Competition teams are available.

Takedown Class- This class is designed to focus on the takedown aspect of Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo, and MMA.  This is very a very important part of being a complete martial artist.  All matches start on your feet.

Pretty Dangerous Women's Jiu Jitsu programWe offer a women's only Jiu Jitsu class on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.  Taught by our women's instructor BJJ Black Belt Melissa Lohsen.  This is a great class for any skill level.  We also offer Pretty Dangerous women's only open mats as part of our program.  If you are a woman who has been thinking about trying Jiu Jitsu out this is a great way to start. Great for all skill levels.

PeeWee Jiu Jitsu-.Our peewees Jiu Jitsu class is a beginner class for kids 3 years to 6 years old.  We teach the basics of Jiu Jitsu positions and control.

Adult Kickboxing- Our adult Kickboxing is a striking art that utilizes punches, kicks, knees and elbows.  You will learn how to strike effectively using good technique.  Sparring is optional in this class.  Recommended equipment is 14oz or 16 oz boxing gloves and a mouthpiece.  Great for all skill levels.
